Winter Mini-Meet with Girl Magic Meets

Welcome to another weekly blog post! This week was Christmas, hooray! Did you get everything you wanted? I got some new prisms and optical tools for my photography, so stay tuned, I'm sure you'll see them in use soon.

I'm very excited to share this shoot with you because it was from my first photography meet-up ever. Nancy from Girl Magic Meets reached out to me a couple weeks ago and asked me to attend their mini-meet over at Lars Andersen Park in Boston. I got the chance to meet a bunch of models, make-up artists, and photographers from the area. The whole idea of GMM is to empower women and show how bad-ass we can be in the industry. We were freezing but these ladies are insane and didn't blink an eye about the cold. Below are some of my favorites from the meet. I'll see you next week!

Models:

Monita, Emily, Sareida, Sodany, Kate, Kenli, Liv

Tyler, the Creator at the Palladium

The Flower Boy Tour - Nov. 15

I was so excited to have heard that I was going to be photographing the Tyler, the Creator show at the Palladium for the Allston Pudding! I've been itching to see him live for a while now and I jumped on the chance that I could go. I have to note: the Palladium stuff are, like, the most polite and understanding folks. They were awesome in the barricades.  I'd also like to thank my 70-200mm 2.8 lens for coming in clutch and contributing to the following photos.

MassArt "Illuminate" Fashion Show

I was asked to photograph the Massachusetts College of Art and Design 2017 Fashion Show, dubbed "Illuminate".

The show was the first event to be held in the new Design and Media Center building on campus and took place under a beautiful glass installation called "Rainfield". In attendance were many contributors to MassArt, as well as faculty and students. Erin Robertson, winner of Project Runway Season 16, was also there to support the fashion department.

In addition to being able to photograph this amazing event, my images were featured in Boston Magazine! Thank you to Susie, Ellen, and Nicky of the Marketing team at MassArt for giving me the opportunity to shoot! Here are some of my favorites from the event:
